Observation Checklists are useful for on-the-job training where for example a Supervisor is required to observe an Employee perform a list of tasks. Follow the link on Observation Checklists Tutorial.
Currently the behaviour for this situation is that if the trainee has two concurrently running SCORM task (same one) from different training paths, then both will mark off as complete if the trainee completes one. However, if the trainee has already completed the SCORM task and then gets assigned the SCORM task again from another training path it will not automatically mark it as complete.
This behaviour may change in future to accomadate completion history.
Notifications for overdue tasks are automatically handled by xapiapps. You can set the days when a task is overdue and the days when a task is expiring through training paths. The overdue date is when a notification will be sent to the trainee. When a task is overdue the trainee can still complete the task. When the expiry date is reached the trainee can no longer complete the task. Follow the link for more on Setting Overdue date and Expirate Dates on Tasks.
To get SCORM content into xapiapps you have to add "SCORM Cloud" through xapiapps. Follow the link for more on SCORM Cloud in xapiapps.
The way to handle this in xapiapps is to have a group called "Trainee" with the trainee role, a group called "Observer" with the observer role and a group called "Administrator" with the administrator role. Then for example a group called "Outdoor Services". For a person who is a trainee in Outdoor Services, you would tag their profile with "Trainee" and "Outdoor Services" group. Similarly for the observer and administrator of Outdoor Services. You can then filter in "People" area for a combination of groups. Follow the link for more on Groups.
