The overdue date and expiry date on tasks can be set within the training path authoring.

The difference between overdue and expiry dates in xapiapps are:

  • Due (or overdue date): when the task has passed the due date, the task is marked with the label "OVERDUE" and the trainee is notified. In overdue state the task can still be completed by the trainee.
  • Expires (or expiry date): when the task has passed the expiry date, the task is no longer available for the trainee to complete it. 


In training path authoring double click on the task you'd like to set the overdue / expiry date on.



Click "Settings" and you should see options to set "Due" (Overdue date) and "Expires" > enter in the values (both values are optional) > click OK.

Note: the value you enter is the number of days "after the date of assignment".
